Global hospital budgeting: implications for costs, volume and quality
Keywords:
Hospital financing, global budgetAbstract
The global budget has made it possible to stop the unreasonable growth of health care costs and, accordingly, to increase the efficiency of hospitals. Today, politicians face a dilemma - they want to limit the rising costs of hospitals, but not reduce the quality of hospital services and the required volume. Among the many hospital financing systems, monitoring through global budgeting is considered the most effective method in terms of cost reduction. It is also important that day by day the number of countries that are switching to the global budgeting method of hospital financing is increasing, because with this method it is possible to provide medical services efficiently.
