Introduction: There are several places in Georgia, where hospice and palliative care is provided for incurable (terminally ill) patients. The aim of the research is to study the problems which are related to the palliative care and to gather the needed information from the Mercy Center of Peristsvaleba Nunnery. Methodology: In addition to studying the primary and secondary sources of literature we used narrative interview as a method for qualitative research. We interviewed the experts of this field. Results, discussion: The amount of the patients who were accepted to be under palliative care is increasing annually. There are six beds in the Mercy Center. Due to high demand of palliative care and a small ammount of beds, all of them are always taken. It is hard to satisfy other patients, who are willing to join the Mercy Center. On the other hand, the reason of not getting the necessary services is a lack of information about the hospice and palliative care. Conclusion, recommendations: Spreading the information about hospice and palliative care, supporting the organizations which are willing to develop in this field are the best ways of solving this problem.
