Further problems of donation of organs after apparent death

Abstract

Introduction: In Georgia law of transplantation of organs was adopted in 2000. Although there is no even one transplantation from the corpse in Georgia. The goal of research is to learn the condition of organ donation after apparent death , the point of view , future changings. Methodology: after qualitative research there was abyssal intherview with choosen respondents. Two focus groups of tsu and tssu last year students and experts interview. Results: the majority of inteviewers is for transplantation especially from living donor. There is no one and only opinion about transplantation from corpse, particulary, when is the person considered as dead, when the heart stops or when the brain is dead. its important that orthodoxy doesn’t forbidden transplantacay and majority of inteviewers confesses the mental barrier which is hard to pass away. Conclusion: it is necessary the united forces of government, church and doctors to enhance  consciousness of people
